Harry was not overly impressed, and watched Moody as he spoke. "And of course I could not be trusted with that information before a general announcement, could I? Never mind that it would affect my ability to perform my job or that I've kept secrets for the Order since I was a teenager." That he was waiting for a general announcement and that it was so utterly important that he did not learn this ahead of anyone else in time did nothing but insult him further.
"You could have told me the truth ahead of time, it's not like I would have shared it with anyone. In fact I didn't share it with anyone, because I did know. My son still trusts me enough to share information with me."
