Re: The Meeting
Harry was of course aware of Moody, Jamie's and Severus' new positions in the order, and while he seriously thought Dumbledore might be losing his mind choosing Jamie so young. Not that he'd say a word about that in front of the others, however. It was his son, and he would not speak against him in public. He wasn't sure what was going to happen if Jamie came into a position where he'd try to give him orders. He doubted it would go over very well.
It was the rest that had Harry feel as if the rug was pulled from under him. Moody was leaving, quitting the division, and he had not bothered to even inform him of so much. Add to that not having been informed of the fact that the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol was going to be restarted, in spite of the fact that he'd worked his arse off to make it happen, and Harry felt as if he was suddenly cut out from information entirely. Remembering the day he'd gone to check on Marlene, how neither she or Moody had told him that she'd taken something from Voldemort, as if he suddenly was not worthy of their trust, he felt a strong urge to just get up and leave. He'd been prepared to die to fight Voldemort, he'd kept every secret Dumbledore had ever entrusted him with, and now he wasn't even trusted with information that was necessary for him to do his job properly.
He wouldn't leave of course. Because no matter what it would be misinterpreted as a move against Jamie, which he would not do. Instead he sat back quietly, keeping his face neutral and letting the others do the talking. He did strongly avoid looking at Moody, because right now he did not think he could without giving away his emotions. He might know how to keep his face void of emotions, but he wasn't the brilliant actor that his son or wife were.
