Making notes for his own reference (and trying very hard not to examine the dichotomy of his thoughts too closely), he set the parchment down and shook his head. "I doubt they'd appreciate the idea they need taking care of," he said with a chuckle. "But, they will be -- if you have anything to say about it. If you can think of the pieces for Vance, we'll list them. You can always find them later."
Momentary mirth was forgotten with her next request. "I don't think that's a good idea. You get tired out just talking to one or two people at a time and I highly doubt your Healer is going to approve it. He will be around, I'm sure. You need rest and if an argument breaks out over Dumbledore's announcement, I know you, you won't be able to stay out of it. And, that's not resting."
He shook his head. "No, someone else can come sit in here with you. And I'll tell you about the meeting after it's done."
