After giving one last squeeze, Hannah let go of Marlene's hand. "I'm going to let you rest so you can focus on recovering," she said. "Please eat something to regain your strength. I brought stew today, but I'll stop by with shepherd's pie tomorrow."
Hannah leveraged herself out of the chair. "If you need anything, let me know," she said before patting Marly's hand. "I'll be by tomorrow."
