"Yes, I can see you're terribly disappointed at the loss of seeing Prongs more regularly," he answered with a snort, not overly upset over the fact his lover and his best friend would never get along. It was on the tip of his tongue to say nothing would happen to him. But, Remus was realist enough to know that was like begging karma to smack him hard for the arrogance. "We can corner him at the meeting next week. All four of us will be present and if he balks, I can start working on modifications to the blood charm."
He raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Fallen angels like the rest of us, maybe."
Remus watched as Regulus thought about he wanted and communicated that to the Room. The familiar door shimmered into being and Remus smiled as he felt the same sense of awe he'd always felt in the face of the greater magics of their world. Stepping closer as Regulus opened the door, he resisted the urge to reach out and pull his lover close.
Once inside, he smiled at the little peace of paradise Regulus had been given, immediately banishing his boots to feel the sand between his toes. He waited only long enough for Regulus to close the door before giving in to the urge to wrap his arms around the other man. "I thought we could use a bit of time to relax before Sunday. Was I right?"
