"If you like, I can ask Regulus who he used for the remodelling at Grimmauld Place," Remus suggested. "You've seen their work; they moved incredibly fast; and security can't be too bad if Regulus would trust them to be in the house under elf-supervision." Grinning, he added, "And, if nothing else, you already have one werewolf with contractor's experience in your circle of friends who can come out on Saturdays to inspect things for structural integrity for you."
Hope and blind optimism were separated by a fine line and Remus couldn't help but hope his friend could navigate it successfully. With Lily's fate in the hands of the Ministry, Remus couldn't find it in himself to trust to his usual optimism, though he would never say anything of the sort to Harry. The Ministry hadn't earned a lot of trust or respect from him. "We'll just have to hope you get that time. I'll help any way I'm able." Remus still missed the young friend who'd brought him chocolate cake and never-ending curiosity.
At the mention of Fidelius, he nodded. "It's something Regulus and I have been discussing since Greyback's return." And a subject they'd just have to revisit. Soon. Likely with all four of them. "It might be a good idea for everyone not to use the same secret keepers, as well. Choose people who haven't already taken that step. We should probably mention something to Dumbledore next week, coordinate amoungst all of us, make use of the newer members Voldemort won't have gotten wind of yet, maybe."
