"I should have put the house under the Fidelius a long time ago. No matter how strong your wards are, they can't withstand this," he said. He bit his lip, nodding when Remus spoke. "I know, and for that I'm grateful. And I'll rebuild this. I'll be damned if they drive me from my home."
He was stubborn, and he'd find a way to keep the building site secure. If he had to cast a Fidelius on the site then and take it down and recast it once it was finished. He would not be driven away from his home. He would not let them win.
He nodded silently at Remus' words. "I know. I'm putting all my hope to that chance. She's so lost, Remus. You should have seen her. She doesn't know one way from the other." Another nod at the next question. "A couple of hours," he answered, though it had not been restful sleep. Not when his child was locked up in Azkaban.
At least there were no Dementors this time around.
