Re: James/Sirius
Sirius nodded, brushing his fingers through James' hair - none of this was easy, and the longer it went on the harder it was to keep up feeling okay about all of this. There was so much more to lose this time around, and unlike the time before he'd been confronted with his own mortality more than once in the last several months - all of this was easier to deal with when he had been convinced he was invincible. "We'll send him a memo."
"The normal sort of all right." He told James, nodding as he decided that for himself as well. He was going to be fine - it wasn't fun, and it wasn't something he liked doing, but he would be okay. Sirius nodded when James said he was fine, some people might not understand that - that this had just been a house, it was after all the place James had grown up. But Sirius had a pretty good understanding of the difference between a house and a home, and his home was where James was now, it didn't matter where that was. And maybe he had memories in other places, but James would always be what was most important. "I'm fine."
