"Yes, we need to tell Voldemort that fires are not acceptable anymore," he joked weakly, because it was too difficult to push things aside so easily this time. His grandparents could have died, and that was worse than any fire. His grandfather had died, his aunt as well. Too many people dead or suffering, and jokes didn't come easily.
"All right as in fine and you're going to have nightmares tonight or really all right?" he asked. At the end of the day, Sirius was still the most important thing for him. "I'm fine. It's just a house for me, and we have our own now." He brushed Sirius' hair, pushing it back. "I'm more concerned about you."
