Re: James/Sirius
This scene was more than a little familiar than Sirius would have liked, up to this point he'd been able to spend time here without thinking much of that night, thanks to the house that had been built over the remains of the house he'd known - this though. With that house gone it was like a scene right out of his memories.
But he'd pushed it out of his mind, he was never going to be any good to anyone if all he could think about was that night if he couldn't keep himself in the moment. And he'd focused on putting out fires as best he could.
He sighed when they'd finished, and he found James again, wrapping his arms around him. "Unfortunate side effect of putting out fires, I'm afraid." Sirius shrugged, feeling less tense now that he had his hands on James. "I'm all right." He nodded - he'd been better of course, but he had a hold on himself. "Are you okay?"
