Summary: James sends a little something.

James had changed his routine slightly. After work, he would go to the Farmhouse and learn with Dumbledore. The lessons were very different from what he had done with Severus. It wasn't just about spell, but a lot of talking and questions, a lot of times they had little to do with magic and a lot to do with philosophy and ethics. Dumbledore also allowed him to use legilimency on him and that was wicked. If he had to describe the man's mind in a word, it wouldn't be brilliant (although it was), but colours. Life through Dumbledore's eyes was filled with colours, and James was finally seeing why people followed him. He might still have his doubts, but he adored learning from him.

Today, unfortunately, he was running late, and he sent a fire message that he wouldn't be in. When he was done with work, he went one floor down and found Dylan. "Hey, if you're ready to leave, how about we have dinner at my place. Sirius is probably still stuck here for a bit longer, but maybe he can join us later."

"Nah, that would make it too easy for you," he said, grinning. "But you know, you might be onto something. Not about me, but he doesn't seem to want to be anywhere near Severus or Dumbledore, and I doubt that it's just random."

James shrugged. "Sometimes you don't have to explain. You give enough information, and you know who's who. I mean I don't particularly care about pedigree, but I still knew about people. I can bet anything that Regulus and Sirius more than knew family histories. I'm just saying that with your last name, there might be some confusion." More like a big confusion, and he'd get his dick hexed when she fount out.

"Well if he's scared that's good, now let's make him scared of a lot more of us," he said with a laugh.

"Again, I want to fuck her, not marry her," he laughed. "And really I'm not pretending or lying, I'm just being me." He shook his head. "Honestly, would anyone ever think I have any money?"

"If I didn't know better I'd say you've become conservative after marriage. What happened to the guy who used to pass girls along and lied to get a shag? I'm so much better than you in comparison." He laughed. "Well this time."
