RP: Hugo, Wren Who: Hugo, Wren Where: Hogwarts When: 3 May, 2025 Rating/Warnings: Summary: Some time alone and maybe talk of the summer
Transfiguration down, two more subjects to go. But she could get to those later in the evening or the next day, it wasn't like she wasn't ahead of schedule anyway. Which was somewhat amazing given her involved discussion with her father.
"I don't want to visit Allegra this summer." She had a slew of valid reasons; the only one she didn't use was the most important' that if she went, he might not let her come back until Voldemort was dead, again. Wren wasn't going to chance that for a number of reasons. You didn't leave just because you were scared (and she was, for her Dad, Uncle Terry, and Hugo), plus it would feel like a betrayal, as if she didn't (or her father) didn't believe they would ultimately win.
To obtain his approval, she'd had to give up some things though; For startes, she had to agree not to go anywhere without an approved escort. Wren had rather enjoyed the look on her father's face when she informed him she'd already promised Hugo that and repeated his words, "I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to you." It was evident that Michael Corner still didn't approve (and Wren was sure it was of Boy in general and not specifically Hugo), but he kept his peace.
That little tidbit had been enough to get him to grudgingly acquiese to allow Hugo to visit over the summer and (with his parents permission) for her to visit him. She had no doubt that he would be checking with the Weasley's about their security; the Lake House already being under the Fidelius.
So two issues had been resolved to her satisfaction. One, albeit temporary, was still outstanding. She needed a break, and to stretch her legs, but had no desire to interrupt anyone else's revision time; and given her promise to the men who loved her, she couldn't very well go wandering off by herself
