Marlene wasn't going to argue about his teasing. It would happen when it did, and they would enjoy it, because teasing from Alastor was never mean, but always good natured.
She nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure. I know you haven't asked, but I want to try, and I know nothing is set in stone. We... I guess we'll see later if it's too much for me, but right now, I want to try this. I want to try this with you." Marlene hoped that he understood why she was doing, not because she thought it was important, but because he thought that it was important. "Not right? Oh God, you're such a girl. I don't even know where to start with that." Really she had no clue what to answer that, because no one had ever told her that the time wasn't right. "I don't get that either, but okay," she finally answered with a sigh.
