"You are right. It's just a huge step, and it's the right one. I guess I just hate the unknown, and the fact that it might not work, but staying with them, forever locked in the manor." He shuddered at the thought. "I could be a drone, doing my family duty until I take over the business. I don't want it at all. It's like having your life already planned out."
"So make my own family out of friends, and I do have you as my cousin. That's some example to follow," he smirked. Maybe they could be family, or maybe they already were. He knew he had to walk away from the others, his parents and grandmother. He did wonder what his grandfather would say. "Okay, that is what I will do. I have to quit trying, and accept that it won't work, at least not with them."
