Dylan didn't know what to say, everything he'd thought he might say up to that point seemed to vacate his mind as she finished speaking. "You- I- You- What?" he asked, looking at her in a mixture of bewilderment, fear, worry, not a small hint of pride and vanity, and something else which he really, really wasn't ready to identify just yet.
Pushing the last thing from his mind, the pride and vanity out of his system he focused on everything else, trying to make some sort of sense of all this. "You do know me, and this- It's the bond speaking, Dom. It has to be, you're not thinking clearly. Of course you don't want to bond with me. I'm- well me! I'm crap at anything resembling a relationship and I'd... cheat or something." He knew he'd been pretty damn close when it came to Lori.
