"It's not our work," Emmeline pointed out. "I'm sure Marly never mentioned sitting around doing nothing. We'd do our job, they'd do theirs. You are aware of the little thing called division of labour, aren't you?" she asked with a smirk. "Each of us specialising in what we do best because it's more efficient for society than if we all did everything ourselves?"
"If we'd paid someone to clean, we could spend more time finding the Death Eaters who are threatening society. Now we spend less time doing that, and the people who Marly would have hired to clean are not getting the job and therefore not the money. Everyone loses, completely illogical," she said with a smile.
"I'd say you need to check your definition of logic lately," she added. "If Marly is right then it's not the only error in your logic you have made lately."
