He grinned shyly at Scor, glad that he felt at ease enough to suggest coming over. "All right, if you still want dinner when you're done with the giant ice cream cone you ordered," he teased, taking a tiny, kitten lick of his own cherry vanilla cone. Delicious.
He sighed, and reached out to squeeze Scor's hand. He'd like to be able to reassure Scor that his parents would come around, but it didn't seem like it. And he was starting to think that even if he wasn't in the equation, the Malfoys still wouldn't accept Scor back. He didn't say anything, just tried to convey his understanding.
"That's good, you and Jamie were almost friends once. Maybe you can be again," he said, grinning a little. "And not arguing is a good thing."
He concentrated on his cone for a minute, before nodding. "If you're sure about it, I'd love to go," he said firmly.
