We helped James out." Merlin knew that the boy hadn't needed the help; James couldn't have convinced someone to buy his furniture in exchange for pictures on the architectural magazine.
"You need furniture, we'll get a couch, some chair, coffee table, and you can buy the candles yourself," she sad. "It's a gift, parents give gifts, the proper response is thank you and be done with this."
