Harry bit back a retort at Snape's spoken approval of his son living in a dump. And this was the man he wanted to one day marry? This was what he wanted Al to have? A shack that looked as though it was about to fall apart which he didn't renovate so that it would look abandoned?
Reaching out under the table, he squeezed Ginny's hand, silently begging her not to comment. They were here for Al's sake, not to start a fight.
"You forget that we have yet to give you a house warming present," he said instead. "It's only customary that one gives something for the house to someone who has just moved."
