He rubbed his sweaty palms against his robe and wondered what Grandmother would do in this situation. She hosted plenty of dinners over the years.
"The dinner tonight consists of locally procured chips, fish, and the unburnt potion of previously tinned marrowfat peas," he announced as if it was a rare delicacy. "Um. I hope you didn't have fish this week yet."
