It was tempting, because gods he'd made a mess of things this time, but even as Craig poured the drink he knew it wasn't the answer. Shaking his head, he put the glass down on the table again. "No!" he said rather forcefully when he mentioned getting Dom, shaking his head. "No," he said more quietly. "We're not getting anyone, or drinking, or talking. I just need to crash somewhere tonight," he said.
"For once Craig, just don't ask. I've been an idiot and I would rather not have my faced rubbed in it." He ran a hand through his hair, feeling that stab of guilt again. Dom was hurting because of his selfishness. She was forced into something she didn't want, and as much as he wanted to spend time with her, he couldn't. It was about time he stopped being selfish.
"You never said how you are," he said with a sigh. "Or are we just going to bed? I feel like I could sleep for a week."
