Jacob grinned to himself as they walked together, Lori taking just a moment to catch up to him before they fell into step. He took them to the Phoenix Cafe, and lead Lori through the tables and booths with a hand at the small of his back before they managed to get to a table that Jacob thought had a good amount of privacy without being completely obvious about it.
"An hour is fine," Jacob assured Lori. "We're just having lunch after all." Though he let the air of suggestion linger in his tone, like they could be doing something else besides lunch. "I'll make sure you have plenty of time to get back to St. Mungo's, right?"
"Do you get new rotations often?" Jacob asked, doing a very good job of pretending to be interested in Lori, like he was interested in learning about his life the way a friend would be. "I imagine they must keep you pretty busy."
