Summary: Greyback begins to attempt to contact old 'friends'
The last few days had been frustrating. No one and nothing was like it was before he went to sleep. After his run through the woods at Hogwarts, Fenrir used one of the wands to apparate to the out lying lands of the Malfoy estate, only to discover the place was crawling with more Aurors. What had Lucius do this time? Was he under house arrest or did Lord Voldemort finally take over?
He had too many questions that needed answers. Not wanting to be discovered, he apparated himself to one of the places he used to hide out in during the full moon for the rest of the night. The shack had an occupant, whom Greyback disposed of before he began to plan his next move. The following morning he went in search of answers.
Using the homeless man's clothing, he went into the nearby village and began digging through rubbish bins in an alley until he found a weekend edition of the Daily Prophet. The paper was able to revile some answers, but not all of them. Over 40 years had passed from the time he slept to the time he woke at Hogwarts Despite the time difference, he learned the Dark Lord was still trying to take over the Wizarding world and some of the followers Fenrir remembered were around as well.
Since he needed to get a message out, he remained disguised in the alley waiting for an owl. An hour passed before one flew in low enough to make a delivery. Staying still and low to the ground, Fenrir waited until the bird turn to take off again before snatching it out of the window. With the owl tucked under his arm, he returned to the shack were muggle parchment and ink were. The note was relatively brief and sent it off to the one who would have the ear of Lord Voldemort.
Bellatrix
I see you've been having fun without me. Lord Voldemort must be busy. Could he use another hand? Last I remember, the werewolves were selecting sides. Be in everyone's best interest if they choose the right one.
