Dylan laughed, though he didn't add that he was the one whose father had been killed by him. It was best not to bring up anyway. "I'm sure they are," he said instead. "Who wouldn't want such a dedicated admirer? Though most of us might prefer the kind who doesn't send us body parts for gifts."
When Jamie went on though, Dylan stared at him for a moment. "Why live there if you hate it?" he asked, the words out of his mouth before he had time to think about it. "It's not like we can't find another Garden Court if we want," he said. "Allison still hasn't found anything that she told me."
"You're completely spoiled," he said with a laugh. "And it's still brilliant, or will be if he agrees to have kids. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you."
