Snorting softly, Alastor closed her hand around the handkerchief. He'd just conjured it up for her use. He certainly didn't need it back. "That's all right," he said. "You can keep it."
Shaking his head, he raised an eyebrow at her. "I don't need to keep them longer than that to make copies. Any Ravenclaw book nerd worth his salt can do that easily enough in one afternoon." He smirked, unabashedly bragging because that was just what he did. Though, he did choke a bit at the idea of running into Molly Weasley while naked. "I don't think anyone in their right mind wants to run into Molly while they're naked. It wouldn't matter how old, experienced, or independent one was. That woman could still make you feel like an errant child, I think!"
Putting his arm around her as well, he shook his head again. "So long as you don't forget this Teddy bear has claws and teeth," he warned, although he knew it was likely a futile gesture where she was concerned. "Set up a meeting," he added, when she went on to talk about Nicky. "It won't hurt for her to talk to me -- unless I'm in a mood to hex someone that day and she gives me cause, of course."
He still thought it was likely to turn into a pissing contest of some sort. But, they could worry about that later.
