RP: Jacob and Lori Who: Jacob Selwynn Where: Diagon Alley When: April 14, 2025 Rating/Warnings: Summary: Jacob is out and sees a familiar face
There were of course multiple benefits to having the pain in his arm reduced to simply a slight discomfort. Despite the time that had passed since he had left the Dark Lord, it would seem that Jacob's little stunt was still on the Dark Lord's mind as he still felt the call from time to time. But it was easy to ignore any lingering discomfort, and as he didn't go around the t shirts so many seemed fond of in this time. It was almost as if he'd never been marked to most people around him.
Because of the decreased pain Jacob found he was more able to leave the Farm house when he wanted, not simply waiting around for Marlene to come and find him and drag him about. Though it was true, going out on his own too often might not be the safest action in the world, he was sure there were Death Eaters looking for him, the occasional trip from the Farm House wouldn't be too life threatening.
And today he'd decided to visit Diagon Alley, he wanted to get out and see other people than those who lived at the Farm House, or those in the Order. He had never enjoyed too much solitude in his life, and he was started to feel just a little trapped. So today's outing seemed like a very good idea.
He just walked down the streets, for the most part ignoring those around him. However as he glanced into the window of a shop he saw a familiar face. And Jacob couldn't help the tug at the corners of his lips, perhaps this trip would not be limited to simply walking. He turned around, having passed the shop and went inside. A book store, he hadn't even paid much attention so focused on the face he'd seen. And he made his way down to the end of an aisle that the boy was soon to be making his way up and waited, pulling a book down from the shelf and turning his eyes to the pages in front of him.
