RP: Sirius and Jamie Who: Sirius Black and James Sirius Potter Where: Grimmauld Place When: Monday, 12 April, 2025 Rating/Warnings: Summary: Sirius talks to James about their hypothetical children before a house elf takes care of it for him
After his talk with Remus that weekend Sirius had once again reminded himself to talk to James about the subject of children, it was all very well and good to discuss the eventual hypothetical possibility of children one day in the very far off future with Regulus and Remus, but on a more realistic time line James really was the person he ought to be talking to.
So he'd been thinking about it all day, how he'd bring it up, how he wouldn't make it about Regulus or Remus, the various reasons and things that went along with it. He thought about it to the point where he'd already planned how it would go down to the timing of things when he got home after work. So by the time he was leaving the Ministry for the day, his mind was counting down the minutes.
The house was quiet - not that it had ever been loud exactly, but it had definitely had a bit more noise to it when both Remus and Regulus had been staying with them as well. And Sirius found he'd enjoyed their company, even if Remus had spent far too much time in the library, and those two were ridiculously sappy when they looked at each other more often than not. But at least James was still here, that was what was important after all.
And he grinned when he found his husband upstairs, and all his planning and things simply left his mind as he wrapped his arms around James and kissed him. "I want to have children with you."
