"Nah, that's too far, and not convenient. I'd say that we magically alter the castle and just move the house inside the dungeon," he answered, grinning.
"Why can't you sleep in school? I know we have to get up for classes, but it's more than that, isn't it? Is something bothering you? The security? I can have Kreacher go over everything to make sure it's safe if that makes you sleep better," he offered.
As Remus talked about their summer, he realised that all the 'dreams' were really things that he wanted to do for Remus. He should be annoyed or upset, used to be the centre of attention, but he liked things this way. Regulus leaned forward and kissed him softly. "We can do anything you want," he said, softly.
He nodded, because there was little he wouldn't have answered for Remus, but this was easy and hard at the same time. "Some things are easy. Pride in who we are, in being Blacks and purebloods, and the oldest and purest family around. Pride in being Slytherins, and yes that is important, because it's more than a house but a way of thinking. Teach them how to dress properly, eat properly, behave properly. They should know how to behave in society. They should remind people who they are not just by saying their name, but by how they act and how they speak. They should understand that we don't need anything Muggle, but that our culture gives us plenty." He smiled a little. "I'd teach them that behaving like uncle Sirius is not the way a proper Black acts, and that they can love him, but never ever imitate him. I know it sounds ridiculous in a world that doesn't care and where the son of their bloody hero makes more money than his father by taking pictures for adverts, but that's just not acceptable."
He sighed. "Some things will have to be slightly modified. I believe in teaching them the Dark Art, and not just Defence. I want them to learn as much as possible, and I believe in discipline, but I don't think I could cast the Cruciatus on my own children."
