"Duly noted," he replied with a half smile. "More letters, less talking when emotion gets involved."
If he had been reading Remus' thoughts, Regulus couldn't have chosen a better moment to start using the word 'we' than that. Nodding, Remus released his hold on his own knees and turned to wrap his arms around Regulus as the other man returned to the bed. That much at least was as easy as breathing, even if the talking hadn't been. "Six months," he agreed. "I'm sure I can. But, I won't. No matter what else, those six months are ours and I don't intend to waste them worrying too much."
Remus let out a long, quiet breath, letting himself relax in Regulus' arms. "Can we just lie down again for a little while before bothering with breakfast?" His insides were so churned up now, he didn't think he could eat anything right then and all he really wanted was to hold his lover for a bit...try to turn his mind off for just a short time, as it was already filling with thoughts such as "You know, you'll have to teach me some of those things -- the clothes and etiquette. Well, maybe not the clothes. I've got a fair idea what you like there."
