"Stick to writing. You do so much better," he said, looking at the letter still on his night stand.
Regulus shook his head. "You can't do that. Sirius will say something and mean it right then, and then forget a day later. I also think that he has a pretty good idea of what's important. He knows about the clothes, the etiquette, all of it, he chooses not to remember when it's inconvenient. He chooses to forget to send thank you notes and owls because it's boring not because he doesn't know that it's important. Maybe, instead of his insecurities, I represent the responsibilities he wants to avoid."
He took a deep breath. "Let's just stop, okay? It's not something that we're going to fix today. We have six months and we will find something if it's possible, and if it's not, we'll find some other arrangement." Regulus got in bed and wrapped his arms around Remus. "Six months, okay? You can't worry all six months."
