"Good thing we can each satisfy the other's curiosity rather easily, then." Smiling, Remus kissed the tip of Regulus' nose. "I have too much to thank you for to wait that long. You've done plenty already to deserve thank yous."
Remus didn't move as Regulus got up and paced, letting the other man move freely. He held his arm open for Regulus to come to him when he got back into bed or not as he felt comfortable with before Remus shook his own head. "I didn't say I have no idea, only that I don't know how it will work. I know you plan and I wouldn't come to you completely empty-handed. This is what I've been working on ever since the night we argued, what I've spent all the time in the library here researching, what that giant order of books from Flourish & Blotts was for. Before we agree to this, hear me out first because 'if I have something' needs definition of it's own, as well, and while it still may not sound like much, it's a better start than vague ideas.
"And don't tempt me," he growled. "The thought of killing anyone else who touches you that way is very appealing to my less civilised nature." All right, in reality, he didn't think he'd condone it. But, it was still a tempting thought.
