"You know I'll drag you around the school if you don't show it to me," he said, laughing, but then his expression changed with the simple 'thank you'. He didn't know what he'd done to get that reaction and looked up curious. "I haven't done anything yet. You can thank me when I make the potions."
Regulus returned the kiss just as gently. "God, I really love you." The words were almost painful to say. He hated this, hated that what he couldn't have what he wanted.
He pulled back, because he couldn't think with Remus so close to him. After a moment, he got out of the bed and started to pace. "You want time but you have no idea what to do, with a war around, and we could die tomorrow. You are asking me to wait for some vague idea. That's not what I do. I plan, I take care of every eventuality."
He got back in bed. "I need more than that, Remus, because... God, I want to, but I can't see it. I can't see an option." He cracked a smile. "I can always kill her after the children, so technically it wouldn't be an extra-marital lover." He shook his head. "I- We won't talk about it until after the summer. I promised you this summer after all, and then if you have something, then we reconsider things, but until then, I will not approach anyone for a possible wedding."
