Re: Inside the Stadium - Marlene
Harry had been an Auror too long to disregard the warning of anyone else in the division, especially when it came to someone being as experienced as McKinnon when it came to fighting Death Eaters. But if this was a diversion, then where was the attack and why wasn't it here.
Calling over Quirke he ordered her to arrange for the protective units to be called and get them on high alert just in case and make sure everything was all right. Once that was done he called Moody over, not wanting to bring in the other heads of unit until he'd discussed it with him.
"How good is McKinnon's gut?" he asked as soon as they were out of earshot with privacy spells raised. "She just sent a warning that this is a diversion. I wouldn't dismiss the deduction of an Auror, but I can't pull people off without confirmation. I'm having Quirke check in on the protective units, but there are other possible targets as well."
"Would she send word to Dumbledore too or just me?"
