Inside the Stadium - Marlene
Marlene had forgot all about the Auror division. She wasn't about to jump into a stadium with tens of thousands of Muggles wearing a robe, making her the perfect target for the Death Eaters. If Potter wanted to complain, he could do so later, when she was still alive.
Dressed as if she were going riding, she put jeans and heavy boots that could be just as dangerous as her wand, and then Apparated to the stadium. Old Trafford was a bloody mess. Red and white shirts fighting with blue and white ones. You had to love the derby and the animosity that it brought. It was just like back in the 70s. However, stopping those hooligans was not as important as stopping the Death Eaters.
As she Apparated from section to section, trying to find the proverbial needle, she kept thinking that this wasn't right. There was something wrong, and she couldn't quite place her finger on it. No Dark Mark, no scary masks, no robes, no broomsticks. This wasn't done to impress like every other attack before. This was done to keep them occupied. She was sure of it.
This is a diversion.
She sent the fire-message to both Potter and Dumbledore. Let them worry about what that meant, while she continued to do her job.
