He found himself with his arm around her should as they walked together, it was a bit strange all of this. Going shopping with Marlene, walking together like perhaps they were more intimate than they actually were. But at the same time it wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as he would have imagined the gesture to be.
"I am not decided on Peter." Jacob told her, he liked having someone he could talk to, and be honest with. He might still be wrapping his mind around what it meant to be friends with Marlene, but he understood the part about being honest with one another. And that was something he so rarely had in anyone, that the fact he could be honest with Marlene was all the more enticing.
