Marlene chuckled. "No, you usually don't, but at the moment, you are."
She blinked when he went on, because now she was sure that he had lost his mind. "Normal people? Simple friendship? Merlin and Morgana, are you insane? We live together, we sleep together, I sleep with your clothes, we eat together, we work together, we've had sex in the past, and the only thing stopping us now is you, we take trips together, we go to the most romantic city in the world together. People take years to do all of that and we do it. How do you expect it to do it normally?"
She raised her hands, and shook her head. "I give up, Alastor. You're being worse than a lad who can't make up his mind. Are in love, aren't in love, we need to discuss, we just let it happen, we can't just be, we shouldn't plan. Do you know what I think? That you're afraid of what might happen, but at least admit it and don't keep coming up with opposite solutions to a problem that doesn't even exist."
