"Considering most of them have substantially more earthly goods than me, I would hope not," he said, laughing.
Albus could see Alastor's mind working overtime about his words, smiling pleased as he reached the right conclusion. "That's right, you, Severus and James. You and Severus can work together, neither of you take things personally, and while James isn't Harry, he has potential, and he's young enough that you and Severus can shape him properly. Of course, it also means that the three of you will be spending a lot of time together."
He snorted. "I don't think I am mentally incompetent, but I shall ask Severus to use legilimency to ascertain it." He raised his eyebrow. "So, does this mean that you will do it? More importantly how do we convince James? Because that's going to be the hard part."
