"No." It was an honest answer, wasn't it? He definitely did not like the look of this one. Or of anything around it to be frank. He'd been an idiot, and he hadn't done this the way he was supposed to mostly because he didn't want to do this in the first place. Never mind that he was wasting both his and Dom's time.
He looked at her, seeing the confusion on her face. "This isn't nice," he said. "It's run down inside and kids mess it up even more whenever they can because they have nothing better to do."
"I should know, I used to be one of them." He shrugged, pulling out the list and really looking at it for the first time, striking out most of the listings he had. "Look, this one doesn't seem to bad," he said. "Let's go look, okay? I wouldn't live here if I was broke and the option was the street," he said gazing at the house again before looking at her. "Let's just go. Please? There is a small gap between those houses over there where no one will see what we do," he said pointing, not able to even keep track of the number of troubles he'd got in there.
