"'Sonly natural, innit?" Hugo asked, feeling defensive. "I don't have any older brothers, and I'm sure Uncle Bill or Uncle Charlie gave Dad the talk when he was my age, or young. Even Uncle George. Easier than talking to parents about it." He didn't know why they were making such a big deal about this.
"Yeah, spells, quiet places, the importance of being discrete," Hugo listed off. He thought better of telling his parents about the advice Jamie gave him on making sure the girls stayed quiet.
He fidgeted on the couch. This conversation was entirely uncomfortable. "Well good, because it's none of your business when Wren and I decide we're ready for sex. But we will be careful, and I'm not going to pressure her for anything she's not ready for." Wren was too good for that.
"Besides, how would you like it if I asked about your first time together, and when you knew you were ready. It's private, innit?"
