"Mm, but I was," Remus teased, grinning at Sirius in return. "I was turning him into my own personal house elf for the afternoon."
Chuckling, he glanced at James before sighing dramatically. "I guess that makes us both expendable. He wouldn't come looking for either of us." He shifted so he could rest his head against Regulus' leg and still look up at his lover with a soft smirk.
"We thought as much. Your brother-in-law makes a much better guinea pig than I would." Reaching up, he ran reassuring fingers along that part of Regulus' thigh he could easily reach. "We're both fine. Unless there were any curses to make one's hands fall off within twenty-four hours of touching anything, of course. But, then, it'd only be James who lost his hands," he added with another smirk.
