"I don't know." It was the truth. She hadn't thought that far. In fact, she had been convinced that staying quiet would have been the best thing for both, but she simply couldn't do it. "I have no idea what I expect you to do. Maybe this- being as confused as I am. It's not fair that I'm the only confused one," she added with a softer tone.
She watched as he paced the room, and she knew that she couldn't expect him to flicker his wand and fix everything, when they couldn't even define what was wrong.
"Okay, what if this were a case? That's what we do right?" Maybe they could get to an answer this way. "First, am I in love with you? You with me? If not, then we're back to normal. If we are, do we want anything to change. If so, how?" She bit her lips, because she wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer. Any answer would change what they were. "I know this is insane. I wanted to stay quiet, I really did, but it's been driving me crazy. I can't ignore it. I need to know."
