Re: At Grimmauld Place - Evening
They wanted a prank. Well they should know better than to go one on one with a Slytherin. Slytherins could act better than any of them combined, although the glare toward his brother didn't have to be fact.
"Why? Are you out of your bloody mind? You sent me an owl to tell me you are married. Crazy, but hey you do crazy things, so I get angry, but I forgive you. Then you send me another owl," he said, voice getting louder. "You tell me that you're getting a divorce, right after we have a discussion about children and wives, and how important it was to me that they were raised properly. You knew all of that, and you send me an owl, and I assume that my brother finally is taking on his responsibilities of head of the family. So I try to be nice, because I don't want you to deal with all the legal stuff, knowing how much you hate it."
He reached into his robe and threw the parchment in Sirius' direction. When he spoke again, his voice didn't lower, if anything it get getting louder. "Just trying to be nice, talk to our solicitor, make sure all the paperwork for the divorce is in front of the Wizengamot before the end of the day. Even took the time during lunch to take care of this. I made sure that everything is done swiftly and correctly. A statement has been send to the Prophet about it."
Regulus stopped, eyes going from his brother to James, not having to fake how angry he was. "I thought I was helping. Imagine my surprise when I met Remus after class and he said it's some kind of game of yours. I hope for your sake that it's not, because come morning, you're divorced, and if it isn't, I might just kill you myself, making the entire divorce action moot."
