He nodded when she said she'd rather stay, leaning back in the sofa and pulling Ginny against him. "Maybe it's barely a sliver, but that's a sliver more than before," he said.
"She loves us, she misses us, and if we can just figure out how to get to her then there is a chance of getting through to her. Maybe that is a futile hope, but it is what we have to hold onto." He sighed. "If nothing else, we're getting that child out. He or she won't be raised there, by them. We won't let that happen, and neither will Dumbledore."
