"Oh please no, don't go there," he laughed. "Craig does not have pretty anything and you're much more gorgeous," he teased. "So am I for that matter, but then I always was the good looking one," he teased.
He smiled when she agreed, but didn't say much as she spoke, mostly listening and being there as she told him all she felt and went through. He almost wished he could speak like that, but he knew he'd never really open up that much. Not about his father's death, or about the loss of the house and the feeling that he was drifting apart from his friends.
He smiled at her, reaching out and brushing away a lock of hair from her face. "We're doing something, right here, and sooner or later things are bound to get better."
"In the meantime I'm always there for a flight to take your mind off things when you need it. I'm really only an owl away."
