Re: Peter - Sirius - Onlookers? Referees?
"Fine, you don't remember. I don't give a rat's arse Peter, because I remember. I remember seeing their bodies, and finding Harry underneath what was left of their house, and I remember all those years I spent in Azkaban, because of you." He glared at Peter, he had done so well, he hadn't gone after Peter, not after he'd heard he was here. He hadn't been planning on killing him, and yet here, when faced with him again, none of that mattered.
Sirius' wand was out before he could think, and Peter was against the wall in the next moment, the wand tip pressing sharply into Peter's shoulder. "Oh yes, I'm the martyred hero, and you you're just poor innocent little Peter, who never did anything wrong in his ickle life."
He growled at the impersonation of his voice, what he had said. "No, we trusted you, because you were safe, because you weren't a target, because you knew how to keep yourself out of trouble. And you gave them over to Voldemort anyway." His eyes stung, he'd lost more than James and Lily that night, the four of them, they'd been brothers, or so he'd thought. Peter just as much as the rest of them, but he'd seen how wrong he'd been. "We chose you because you were family."
His face hardened after that, and he pulled his wand back just a small amount, he wanted Peter to see it coming.
