He did stop and stared at Sirius, because he didn't know what to think, and then Sirius went on about two men having children and he remembered the conversation they had. "Oh no, you can't be serious. I was joking. That was for Belvina's benefit. You can't possibly use Muggle methods to have a Black heir. Don't you see how wrong that is? And even if you did succeed, which is slightly worrying and disgusting, who's going to raise these children? You and James? Neither one of you has any idea what a proper pureblood should act like. These children would be doomed before they even reach Hogwarts. You need a wife, a pureblood wife, someone like Belvina. There is no way that you can raise them properly."
