Re: Peter - Sirius - Onlookers? Referees?
Sirius rolled his eyes when Peter pressed on despite his very clear, and Sirius thought, very polite rebuff - all things considered. He did not want to deal with this today, not any day for that matter, he had no interest in anything Peter might want to say to him.
"So you have to tell me that you have nothing to tell me?" Sirius asked turning on Peter then. "That's what you feel the need to tell me? That you have no explanations, and no excuses, and no reason for why you sold our best friends to Voldemort? That's what you have to tell me? You needed to say that, Peter?" He'd crowded into Peter's personal space as he spoke, each word sharp and his tone icy - Sirius felt he did an excellent job keeping his voice down.
"I don't want to hear it, I don't want to hear anything from you, not today, and not tomorrow and not next week. You killed them, we trusted you, I trusted you, said you'd keep them safe and you fucking handed them over on a silver platter. Don't come here and tell me you don't have anything to say about that."
