Re: Albus, Harry
Harry moved closer the moment Dumbledore asked him too, leaving Ginny's side. When he spoke, his eyes widened a bit even before he nodded. "I guess Bellatrix learned from her past mistakes," he said, though he felt the last hope drain from her with those words.
"I spoke to her yesterday. She contacted me. She's- She has no grasp of reality any more. She's marrying Rabastan in a week, did anyone tell you?"
"We got the invitation on Sunday, without the location of course. I think she wanted my blessing. She kept asking me if I was happy for her. She really thought I should be."
He shook his head. "They've given her a new name, she's marked. The spell is removed but she doesn't remember when they removed it, she doesn't know if it was before or after the murders. She's confused, her memories are jumbled and in some cases false. Her mind is still working out what is true or not which means she has two memories of several events. She remember being ordered to kill me and luring me into her room, but she also has a memory of me attacking her and acting in self defence. I don't know how extensive this confusion is. In either way she is not sane. For a while I thought I might just persuade her to come home 'for a visit' but in the end she didn't fall for it."
He felt drained just saying all of that, and still there was more. "She's also pregnant," he added. "Rabastan's child."
