"I thought I did," he said quietly. "What I felt for you was so intense, but it wasn't love. I didn't have any experience and it was the only word I could think of that described it." He shrugged, blushing a bit.
"But it didn't last. I'm still attracted to you Dylan, but I'm not in love with you. I'm attracted to Scorpius too, and it might not be with the same intensity but I think it's going to last longer." He didn't want to hurt Dylan, but he needed to be honest.
He took a deep breath. "Thanks for the advice. It means a lot that you care enough to offer it," he said, smiling at Dylan. "And I'm not going to pretend. I'm going to be completely honest with Scorpius because it's the right thing to do."
His food came as well, and he gathered it up. "Thanks again Dylan, and maybe we can work our way towards being friends one of these days." He smiled again, and then took hs food and headed back to his flat. He had a lot to think about.
