RP: Wren...and notes to Rose and Hugo Who: Wren (Rose? Hugo? Where: Hogwarts When: 25 March, 2025 Rating/Warnings: Summary: Wren tries to cheer up the Weasleys she knows
There was a lot of grumbling, even moreso than there had been in the past few days. Wren was very curious as to what had put Professor Black's knickers in a twist, but as she was in the dorms now there was no way to ask her father. She hadn't really minded the detention; she rather liked cleaning, it was therapuetic, even though that attitude had garnered her some strange looks.
She was used to it, but that didn't mean she wanted more, so she was very quiet about not having to redo her Potions essay. No one but Uncle Terry and Dad needed to know she made copies of all her essays before turning them in. She'd just delay in turning it in, so that Professor Black didn't get suspsicious; it wasn't like she was cheating, it was the same essay she'd written that had been destroyed. All in all, she wasn't fussed about the destruction, even if she felt bad for the other students.
What did bother here was that the grief Hugo was getting..
Getting up from breakfast, she had time if she rushed. A quick dart to the dorm and a wave of her wand and she was ready. Library first and a note and flowers she had transfigured were left for Rose
Accidents happen, don't be too hard on yourself,
Wren.
Then back into the crush, and if she happened to trip and cause a muddle, well she was only human. And if one of the boys who had been giving Hugo a hard time (she'd heard bits of that damn song from him) got hexed from a whisper under her breath, well she was only human. Between the 4 or 5 of them (Puffs, Snakes, Lions and Claws) tangled together, he'd never know who did it. He wouldn't even know he was hexed till his crotch started itching and burning the next time he touched his privates for more than a second or two.
Getting to her feet she apologized sweetly, ignoring her victim as he goosed her behind as she walked away and rapidly found a 1st year Gryff. Her status as the Deputy Headmaster's Daughter had some clout it seemed, because even given his reluctance, he promised to deliver the note to Hugo, or else.
Hugo:
Ignore them okay? Just focus on your new broom and how you'll rub their faces in it at Quidditch once you get it. I'lll be cheering you on when you do
